Recent History
2014 we won 3 cups in the Gloucestershire League: the Mixed B team in division 4, the Mens A team in division 4 and the Mens B team in division 6 This year (2016) we won 3 cups again: the Mixed 2nd team in divsion 4, the Ladies 2nd team in division 6 and the Mens 2nd team in division 6

The club introduced its first set of written rules at the 1975 AGM
The club played in the Bingham Hall on 1 court until the old Sports Centre opened in 1975.
The club moved to the new Leisure Centre when it opened and played there until the 2007 flood when the club moved to Kingshill School where we are now.

Peter Chambers became Chairman. The late John Dyte joined the club and we had 33 members. Membership Fees were £45, Visitors Fees £3 and Match Fees £2. The Club Captain (Trevor Telling) reminded team players to be aware of when they were next on the match court so as someone did not have to go and fetch those players from the bar!! There were 3 social events, a club Dinner at Leo’s of fairford, a summer ramble and an informal Christmas dink at the Waggon and Horses.

The AGM was held at the Beeches Community Centre and Ted Goddard stepped down and Brian Taylor took over. The club had moved to the old Sports Centre and the Gloucestershire Mixed A team won division 8 and the Mixed B won division 12. the Swindon and District Mens team won division 4. the club also participated in 2 local friendly matches. The clubs bank balance had £39.99 in it and Membership Fees were £5 with 40 members.
